A "Masta-Piece"

People tell you so much in "preparation" for children.

In my opinion, everyone preparing us, missed a very important tidbit.

There is just something

About the kid who makes you a mom & dad.

A special and unique connection

He sat down in the floor lastnight and completed half of a (no outline) puzzle ALONE before I realized it. As soon as I noticed, I sat down and admired my big boy as he finished.

His sweet fingers maneuvering the pieces... Sometimes turning them 2 or 3 times before getting it right. At the end, he called his finished product, his "masta-piece". It was then that I called his daddy in and Harrison did it again for us.

We are so proud of him. Not for finishing the puzzle, but of the " masta-piece" God has in him. He is a fun- loving ball of energy but the fun, loving (so so sweet and loving) and wittiness that accompanies his energy is what we admire about him!!

He gets away with a little more than the other two.

He sneaks out of bed after bed occasionally and we let him stay up a while longer. He knows he can sneak into our bed early each morning and he will be welcomed between us. He is a charmer and a character. His alone time with us is when he shows us his sweet, loving, and hilarious personality most!! Gosh, we love this kid. He is growing up too fast!
