Nashville Dragonboat Festival

We got up super early to head to Nashville this morning! The traditional drum and dragon dance kicked off the races at 8:15am. We made it with 4 minutes to spare.

The kids loved the Dragons and the boats.

Harrison kept asking to ride :)
We set up camp at a few different places until we figured out what was best! People kept blocking the kids view.

There was a whole booth dedicated to Taiwan.

Before we went I was explaining to Harrison that people from China and Taiwan would be there. I said, "all kinds of Asian people like you" He hopped up and responded. "No, I not Asian, you Asian" oh boy :)
Faces were painted...

And dragons were made...

Fun was had celebrating a traditional part of Harrison's culture :)

It was a very very fun and free family morning!
