Easter at Grammy & GDaddys

We left off in the car on the way to Grammy and GDaddys!

We called Grammy when we were about 5 minutes away and asked if she would be outside and ready to get our family photos! We knew we were on borrowed time since we hadn't had lunch and it was passed nap time! Sure enough, Grammy was standing in the driveway ready to take action for us!! I don't know why but when we pulled in the driveway to find her just ready to help out, it made me so happy and thankful for her!! I mean I already was but she it was just another reminder of how she is one who is always ready and willing to help when and where possible!! Whether it be to walk the streets of Seoul with me to get medicine to help our newly adopted babies potty or to jump in and help me get the very important Holiday family photo in a moments notice... It doesn't go unnoticed or unappreciated!! We love you Grammy!! And she always trys her hardest to make every Holiday and birthday special and celebrated!!

As for the photos... These were a few of the outtakes...

We settled with this one...

Greer doesn't love sun in his eyes ;)

a few of the just the kids...

Grammy convincing Harrison to hang in there and Sophie cracking me up!! Girlfriend is a hot mess!!!

Then we went inside for our lunch adventure. We had planned a play date with friends that was an egg hunt lunch on Good Friday. Sick kids caused us to cancel. I just saved the goodies for lunch at Grammys Sunday. We hid 6 eggs per kid in the house. They found them...

Then they ate the contents...

Grapes, veggie chips

Cheese, turkey

Cookie bunnies and M&M's

Then I took our kiddos one by one and traded them an M&M for every pose :)

It worked like a charm!! I knew I was pushing it but I thought I'd give it a shot!! It's amazing what one on one time and candy persuasion can get ya!!

After pictures everybody napped like champs! Then it was time for the real egg hunt at Grammy & Gdaddy's!! The kids decorated their bags...

Then the hunt was on...

The eggs were divided into girl and boy eggs...

They had a great time and we finally found them all.
More pictures... Grammy and Gdaddy with all their grandkids...

Just cousins...

A little sharing...

Then the adults got to hunt :)

Then it was big dinner time :) we even had a traditional seder meal before the real meal ... Like the Last Supper. It was neat!!

Sophie slurped up some grape juice. I'm sure that's how the disciples did it :)Grape juice mustache and slamming their cup down demanding more!!

Breah entertained Greer...

GDaddy did too...

This sunflower cake was adorable!

Sophie decided she wanted to play with the eggs one last time...

Then it was piano time...

They had to make their grand exit.

I think we are gonna take them on the road...

Omma said Sophie loved the piano at the church they went to in Seoul. I know Grammy has wanted one of the grandchildren to take lessons. I'd say Sophie might be the one to make it happen.

That's our sweet, sassy, and smart Sophie!!

We had such a great Easter weekend. Sometimes Holiday weekends can be overwhelming to head into knowing all the juggling that has to take place, but it is always always worth it!! That concludes my posts for Easter 2012.
