Greers 1st day at "school"

There is a local university that has a special preschool program that combines typically developing children and atypically developing children! Greer will go twice a week for 2.5 hours!


There is an observation booth that I can hang out in as often as I like!! Sophie and I did just that for the first 45 minutes and the last 30 minutes of the class today.


Sophie was kind of confused, But she was very good as we watched!





I am very happy for this to be something special for Greer!! I am also thrilled at his reaction to Mrs.Amanda!

His track record has been to shut down in unfamiliar places with unfamiliar people. It was totally the opposite today. The Lord knew just what my Mama heart and mind needed to feel 100% confident with this big step for our sweet boy! He continued to be giddy and happy the rest of the day!!

In February, we will start transitioning Sophie into the 2 day preschool that Harrison is a part of( in a separate class). After going back and forth, we are pretty confident this is the best thing for her. I start back to working part time at the church(9-12 Mondays and full days Wednesdays and then church times) at the end of Feb. Everything seems to be falling into place for this to be a nice little set up for our Family!!
