Reality is sinking in, our lives are fixing to change BIG TIME! Today as I was sitting in a staff meeting with these guys and thinking about how much I love working with each of them (for real…they are all so unique and funny and special)!!
I had my phone in full view in case any important emails happened to pop in! at 11:46 am I looked down and WHAT DO YOU KNOW? There it was…
We truly weren’t expecting it this early!! We thought next week was very hopeful…but GOD! We are so thankful!
I will be honest, I am in awe and shock and a big ball of nerves and craziness!! I have so much I want to accomplish with Harrison, at home, and at work before we leave. I am just checking one thing off the list at a time!
Harrison will not be joining us on the trip. We feel like that would be setting him up for failure with regard to adjustment. A long plane ride, changing time zones, a new reality of sharing mom and dad experienced in an environment away from home, another long plane ride WITH the new silblings….that would be so tough. We think he will do great to be able to stay back in his routine and then get used to all the new craziness on his own turf!
Brandon’s mom and dad are travelling with us and we are so excited about it! We hope to get our travel call in 2-3 weeks!! We shall see!
We are waiting to get the Class B’s back and then for the twins to have Embassy Appearance and then their Visa Interview!! It could all go really fast. Like I’ve said before, throughout this process, I don’t expect anything but I hope for A LOT of things!! So thankful we serve THE God of Hope!
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13
