July Twins Update w/ pics!

Oh yes!! We got pictures of our sweet babies. We sent a care package to them and I was so nervous it would not make it in time for them to get them this month because their well baby checks are normally closer to the 15th! Our package arrived on the 17th. What do you know?? Greer’s check was on the 21st! Yes! So, we got updated pictures of them with their package!

I LOOOOOVE this picture of a grumpy Greer! Sweet boy! I am pretty sure he is upset with Sophie because she is holding the “rainmaker” toy! We sent it for Greer, but of course we want them to share!

Greer gets a well baby check every month still because he has some catching up to do. They want to keep a close eye on things. His report looked great! He is still not able to sit up, so they are working with him in physical therapy twice a week to do those things….as well as bear weight on his legs! He gained 1.4 lbs from his last weight reported!! He is now at 17.4 lbs!! As a result, they reported him to be at moderate nutrition rather than poor (that is what most of the reports say since he is so tiny for his age) woohoo! Sophie is a whopping 23 lbs (2 lbs less than Harrison)!! 2TWINSWBC728crop

I 2nd guessed the size of the package that we sent. It was a box. I kept reminding myself that it was for two and this is all the love we can show our babies beyond prayer as we are in the “in between.” I do not really feel bad after looking at it that way. Our agency just changed the policy about sending more than a photo album…just in time Smile  I did send 2 reusable target shopping bags for the foster mom to carry the goodies back home in. I am not sure how she gets the kids to and from the Holt office so I wanted to make it as easy as possible for her to get the goodies back home with TWO toddlers! Smile I have never been more thankful for a month to arrive! All of us in the Korean adoption community are hoping for some big things to happen in the month of August! MONDAY is August! I’ll be at camp over the weekend with some of my church kids, so this weekend will fly by! We’ll welcome August 1st with open arms! I have a birthday, we have our adoption benefit dinner, and supposedly the ministry in country is supposed to start processing some Exit Permits!!

Praying for BIG things this month!

Oh, Im so elated I found yalls blog! I have NO clue how I ended up here, but I know the Lord led me here! God planted the seed of adoption in our hearts 3 years ago He has just given us the PEACE that ITS TIME. We actually thought we would be first pursuing a domestic african american boy, bc while Ive always desired a sweet one from Asia, my husband wasnt quite there w/ international yet since there was a need here. Until Sat. he shared that the Lord had been giving him vision of a sweet Asian princess! I just wept and we both knew the Lord was finally giving us our YES and putting the faith he planted into ACTION. We are pursuing S. Korea & bc of our state, we are only qualified for the waiting child list. Im so elated I found your blog!!
