Since I’ve been swamped with VBS prep and then VBS week (Sun-Wed), I took off today to spend it with my little guy! Harrison and I had a lot of fun!!
We played, did tot school, Harrison took a nap, had lunch with Pam, went to speech, and then we met our buddies
at the local splash pad. It took the boys a few minutes to warm up to the idea.
They eventually found the most joy in running to and from the closest water squirter thingy.
Bribery in the form of goldfish crackers may or many not have been involved for Brodie and Bates MaryLeigh was hoping that Harrison could help the boys warm up to water play!
Look at him high stepping it here…lol!!
I think this little guy is doing quite well considering how long he has been home! Now, if he’ll just get over his jetlag and drop the nightly play date with his mom and dad from 1-4ish! I can’t imagine what our play dates will be like when we go from 3 to 5 little Asian cuties!
We have a FULL weekend ahead of us! Lots of water activities involved AND maybe even more gatherings with other Asian cuties. We are meeting up with our local adoptive Taiwan families group on Saturday! A weekend full of family and friends! Our life is certainly full and for that I am thankful…because of that, there are consistent reminders of our abundant blessings at every turn!
