He’s the coach…We’re the cheerleaders

We speak a verse over Harrison every night before he goes to sleep and sometimes we do it randomly throughout the day! As he grows up, our prayer is that he will cling to this verse as it is pretty all encompassing!

For I know the Plans I have for Harrison declares the Lord, plans to prosper Harrison and not harm Harrison, to give Harrison a hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

We chose life verses for the twins almost immediatly. Each of our children’s life verses apply to them specifically. Knowing what we know about their history and them uniquely, we felt like their verses suit each one of them PERFECTLY!

Greer can do ALL things through CHRIST who strengthens him! Philippians 4:13

Sophie

For you created Sophie’s inmost being; you knit Sophie together in her mother’s womb. We praise you because Sophie is fearfully and wonderfully made;  your works are wonderful, we know that full well. Psalm 139:13-14

We will do the same repetition for the twins with their life verses! We will speak them over them and encourage them as we claim these truths over each of their lives! We are confident that the Lord has big plans for each of our children and we will equip and encourage them to seek those plans out! We want them to partake in God’s BEST for their lives! HE is the coach, they are the players, and we (mom&dad) are the cheerleaders!

We are adopting a WC from Holt also! I was hoping and praying for the twins to find a home and a loving family. Looks like they did! When I saw the "I have a family" banner on their picture, I was so relieved. I even told my husband that they were finally adopted. Congrtulations!
