Blessings 2&3 {Part 1~ A God Ordained Friendship or 2 or 3}

A few months back, on February 17th to be exact, I got a casual email from my very close friend and mentor, Pam (note: Friendship#1). It said this:

"I'm sure you have seen this...." and then she linked to this blog post, http://abrotherforbates.blogspot.com/2011/02/superman-was-adopted-tee.html

Pam knows me well!! She knew that I would love this shirt and would NEED one for Harrison. She was oh-so-right because I immediately clicked through to the blog that I had never been to before and did nothing but purchase the shirt. As you guys have probably noticed by now with all the pics :)

I didn't even look around or go back to the blog until a week or so later and that was after...

I had commented on my friend Adrienne's (note: friendship #2) F@cebook status and received notification of a followup comment by someone with the profile picture that had logo of the t-shirt I had just ordered for Harrison the previous week....It looked something like this,

you following me so far?? Well, I clicked through to this person's FB profile and eventually found her blog through her profile and went to it to discover it was the person I had bought the t-shirt from. I then realized that we had indeed met MaryLeigh, Nick, and Bates at an adoption fundraiser at a Chic-Fil-A about 6 months ago. I was inclined to send her a message and friend request on Facebook...explaining that I had bought a t-shirt, had met her 6 months ago (checked to see if she remembered ), and now I had seen her comment on Adrienne's page and I was taking the hint that I was to add her as a friend.(note: friendship #3) That friend addition (seemingly casual and no big deal at the time) very well has been the beginning of TWO very big deals!

I am pretty sure that it is the Lord's providence that these 3 very different and loosely related friends, Pam
Mary Leigh

and Adrienne

 have been used to lead us to this new faith journey we are currently on!

The whole point of what we're urging is simply love—love uncontaminated by self-interest and counterfeit faith, a life open to God. 1 Timothy 1:5 (The Msg)

To be continued...
