EVERY night and sometimes several times a day I say this verse aloud to Harrison because it is the verse we are claiming for his life...For I know the plans I have for Harrison declares the Lord, plans to prosper Harrison and not to harm Harrison, to give Harrison a HOPE and a FUTURE!! Jeremiah 29:11 It's the little things that reinforce it from day to day! :o)
Don't worry the camera just happened to be above him on the counter so I could take a quick picture and then tell him to "stay down"
FYI..if you make a habit to tell your little ones what TO DO(i.e. "Stay Down"_ rather than NO or what NOT TO DO ("Harrison don't play in the dishwasher") they will have something more positive to focus their energy on. Most of the time, when you say no or tell them not to do something it just gives them a little challenge or reminder of what's getting them your attention and we all know how toddlers like a challenge & attention ;o) Just a little Early Childhood Ed tip for you!
P.S. - as you can tell the outfit is WAY too big, but it's a comfy play outfit!

He is seriously just TOO cute!
I know that feeling...the one I don't talk about often enough. The one where my babies who weighed less than 1 lb at birth and shouldn't even be alive now yet they are accomplishing so much ~ God must have BIG plans for them that is all I can say!
He is so cute!
I'm so glad that you got to visit the hospital where Harrison was. We too visited the hospital where Hannah was born at, arriving into the world weighing 2.6 pounds at 28 weeks gestation. I think these are very important photos for our preemies, as the people there worked round the clock taking care of our children so they could grow up big and strong like they are today.
Oh that is a great milestone! Thanks for the ECE reminder about positive reinforcement and discipline.
He is so cute! I love the picture!
Did you see you won a tshirt?? send me your address and size and I'll get one mailed out to ya :) congrats, kristi

I just found your blog through another blog I follow. I've loved reading your adoption story! My husband and I are foster parents and are open to adoption if it ever presents itself. It's always good to find other people with the same passion! We blog about our experiences at http://the-popps.blogspot.com
YAY Harrison! Don't you just love watching our little Taiwan treasures experience life! Watching them grow is soooo amazing!
Take care,
Tonya & Janie
