Harrison will start spending more time away from Mommy this week than EVER before. I can't say I am not highly anxiety ridden over this. I LOVE my boy something fierce and will be sending Harrison to a great preschool, for 6 hours 2 days per week, where I expect
nothing less from them! Just pray for me...I'm not a very emotional person, but I am concerned about myself and this transition. Harrison will be just fine I know...he is such an easy going little guy and has done superbly in the nursery at church the last 2 weeks (3 hours). He is always glad to see Mommy come back though ;o) The difference is that I walk in and out of his room often making my rounds in the children's wing!!
Even though it's going to be hard to leave Harrison, I do look forward to having set amounts of time in the office to work hard in Kidzboro. We have some pretty awesome things kicking off the New Year! Our new 8 week children's church series is
Upside Down Town. It has been a BLAST to prepare for and it has some GREAT Biblical truths for the children to walk away with. We kick off
Worship Kidstyle on Wednesday nights too! We had praise team practice today (a group of 8 kids who lead worship on Wed. through music and motions) and I was just beside myself with joy. The new kids on the praise team could hardly contain their excitement to be ON the praise team!! What a joy to work with children and see their hearts desire to serve and praise the Lord!!
This is Harrison last night. He napped late so when we layed him down he popped right back up and gave us a show through the bars in his crib.

He laughed, nibbled on the wooden rail, pulled up, bounced up and down. We took that as his signal that he absolutely wasn't ready to sleep. We got him up and played for another hour and then he was out and didn't even wake up for his nightly bottle!
This is Harrison early Saturday morning.

He loves to come into our bed after waking up to roll around, giggle, and bounce on mommy and daddy and there bed! He is such a sweet boy!

He is just so so cute!
I hope you have an easy transition. It sounds like lots of great things are going on with your children's ministry.
Blessings,
Amy
I will be praying for you as you make this transition of taking him to preschool...it will be so good for him!
I'll be praying for you in these next couple of weeks. The transition is more difficult on us mommies for sure, but you too, will get through it. :)
