Oreos, Friends, Profesional Pics, and Work

We had 3 of the SWEETEST guests tonight! They just happen to be on Harrison's Fan Club top 20 list too!! I knew they were coming and I thought that THIS new How-To that I found would be fun to try with them!! It was easy peasy and it yielded high quantity results in limited time while multi-tasking children/dinner/husband/Christmas Music etc.!

We knew that middle sister is scared of dogs so we left them out the whole time. At the end, her parents wanted her to see Chester. We went ahead and put her on the kitchen counter. We expected this kind of reaction :o)

Here are some of the results from our session with www.andiincphotography.net. I am one happy Mama. I had 350ish to chose from!!

Brandon was working at this time, so no family professional family photos yet!! I loved this one of the two of us!! This is a classic Harrison face. All smooshed and filled with adorableness!

On a work/family balance note:

Harrison did WONDERFUL at work with me last week. I felt SUPER guilty about expecting him to go with me and "hang out" so I decided to slow it back down until January. In January, he'll start going to a GREAT church preschool where the girls mom (the ones from the top of the post) teaches. It is 5 miles from my work! He will go there T & Th from 8:30-2 and then he'll be with my parents on Wednesdays. I am going to be very honest...deep down, my heart is super conflicted about this. I just remind myself that Fri-Mon...it's the two of us. Friday is my off day. Monday is staff meeting (my dad comes the church to watch him during that time...he has already done so twice!) and then Harrison will spend the rest of Monday with me. It is a comfort that I LOVE my job and that it is a job that I truly am called to, but I also LOVE my son (that's where the conflict comes in). I know that once January is upon us, we'll find a groove that we work ourselves into. For now, I am enjoying this beautiful time of year with my beautiful family!!

P.S. - our friends Jim & Adrienne got the call to go and bring home their daughter Lily last week. Jim stayed home to hold down the fort there with Owen and Adrienne headed to Korea with her Mother-in-Love to meet and bring home their daughter! They should be united RIGHT NOW! I am sure a post will follow shortly!! Follow their story HERE!

Those OREO treats look fantabulous :)! You can never go wrong with chocolate and chocolate bark.

Love the last picture of the two of you. Your happiness is written all over your face!
