Baby Jesus...




We had a super busy but wonderfully blessed weekend!! As you can see...Little Brother and Harrison get a long quite well!! Little Brother calls Harrison Harry or as he puts it, "Har-wee."

I have a high school friend who is a SPECTACULAR photographer (see some of her work HERE) and she offered to do a session for Harrison. I could not resist getting my own picture of the birthday shot above. We got LOTS more, but I just had to get that one!! Of course her pictures will be with higher quality equipment and will be edited so they'll be MUCH better!

& Then finally...Harrison made his debut as baby Jesus in the children's musical tonight and he did so well!! ALL of the kiddos did an AMAZING job!! We stressed to them over and over that they were sharing the story of Jesus' birth in a way that some had never heard before. We encouraged them to do their very best for Jesus...not for me, not for their parents, or the crowd...but for the Glory of God the Father. Boy!!! They DID it!!

As you may notice, all of the preschoolers (the rest of the manger characters) REALLY loved Harrison so instead of spreading out, they huddled around Harrison. It was so cute and totally adorable!! Harrison is loved every which way he turns!! I couldn't see him because I was helping up front and the huddle was tight around him. Brandon managed to sneak a few shots in!! I will cherish them forever.

I stood over our sons crib tonight and prayed over him. I thanked the Lord again for the special blessing we have in Harrison and prayed that the Lord would guide the choices that we make as parents so that, in raising Harrison, we foster in him a devotion to and a heart for our Lord.

Oh, and I did I mention how FULL my heart is?? Let's just say it's fuller than full!! :o)

P.S. Did you know that Harrison's 1st birthday is Friday? I am pretty much in denial. I am throwing myself into the last minute details of his (circus/carnival) party Saturday in order to avoid thinking about it too much! I LOVE MY BOYS!
