We'll be heading out of the country next Thursday BRIGHT and EARLY 6:50am-ish (still must confirm flight today)!!! We were right to be hopeful!! We got the exact date that we requested for our visa appointment...Tuesday, the 17th!!!!
Roughly we're thinking things will look like this:
Thursday-catch departing flight at 6:50am
Friday @ 7:30pm arrive in Taipei-stay overnight
Saturday- catch flight to Taitung (short domestic flight)
United with our baby boy at last!!!
Sunday-enjoy the baby boy - possible meeting of birth mom...visit hospital and such where Harrison was born- possibly go the church they take him to each week??
Monday-fly back to Taipei middayish---chillax here for the rest of the day perhaps taking in a sight or two
Tuesday - VISA appointment (tour what Harrison feels like touring)
Wednesday - pick up Visa and tour some more--only if baby boy is up to it
Thursday - in Taipei... catch our returning flight at 1:20pm and
arrive back in the U.S @ 7:10pm on our Thursday Nov. 19th!!! We hope to meet you at the airport!!!!!
This is all tentative as we try to secure our flight today. We know it will be similar as we HAVE to have Harrison in our arms in enough time to get him back to Taipei for the VISA appointment.
We would have loved to done a couple days for a little extra touring and such like several of you suggested...BUT we are on a tight budget & the ultimate goal is to wrap our arms around our son and bring that boy HOME! We look forward to returning with Harrison at an age where he can soak it all in!!!
Ok, gotta get back to sleep. I got up @ 3am just to check my email and boy am I glad I did!!!!!
