Yep, this whole waiting on or AIT appointment thing is NOT fun!! They say give them up to 2 weeks to respond & that will be on Monday! Our friend Tonya got her response 1 week and 1 day after emailing her request. Plane tickets are going up by.the.day. and we are on a budget! We are very hopeful that we'll get a date for the week of the 16-20, but we're too scared to book tickets ahead...just because you never know with this crazy ride we're on.
We're in the home stretch and we are ready to be with our boy!! We got a video of him yesterday and he has TWO teeth!!! What??? At this rate he will be walking by the time we get there!! We're starting to think....could we call AIT? You know...just to make sure they got the email...hahaha! There is a # on the website :o)
I keep finding myself asking myself..."hmmm...Did I pray for patience?"
Oh and I got up at 4am Tuesday Taiwan time to see if we had anything...it's now 5am (I assume close of business there) and we don't have an emailed date! I've been doing this since last Thursday. I assume I'll continue each day until we get the appointment!
Now I have the hiccups...I guess it's meant for me to stay awake.

we found it was fairly easy to communicate with AIT via email. I would just shoot them one to verify receipt of your appointment request. Are you emailing at aitadoptions@state.gov?

No good thing will he with hold from you. And in his timing which is perfect and complete. We are praying him home, so be at peace.
Adoption is like expecting for a pregnant woman. You're waiting for the email, I am waiting for the labor pains that should have started yesterday! Both of our agencies, AIT and baby Emery are content...
