I am not worried about taking care of Harrison or having a baby..I am just SO ready to be heading that way!! The anxiousness come from feeling that my house isn't ready and OUR bag isn't packed. That's the part that is getting me.
This evening, I went and got all the last minute things we needed and am washing the rest of our clothes.
My friend Samantha gets a gold star or seven. She came over Sunday night after the shower. Our plan was to scrapbook. She quickly realized that I needed help narrowing down what to take for Harrison. So, instead of scrapbooking, we did this...
Disregard the cookies! They were just randomly there! ha!and it was OH.SO.HELPFUL!!! I've never had a little one that's ALL mine...so I needed guidance on medicine and such. Plus I was trying to take ALL my favorite things of Harrison's and let's just say that wasn't super practical ;o) Samantha was a very kind packing guide and when she left I only had a small list of items to gather to finish up his bag and a larger stack of things to put BACK in his room to save for later use!!
Today all of the staff members at the church I attend/work presented me with the gift they all generously "went in" on....
I didn't even register for this, but a certain staff member knew what I wanted and pulled everyone together on it!! We LOVE it SOOOOOOOOO much! Since we live pretty close to Nashville....the cowmooflage is just fitting as well as ADORABLE. Our friends son, Owen, has it, and we have always thought it was so stinking cute. Brandon has a few to-do items on his list for tomorrow night and one is to install the car seat. We have family who will meet us at the airport with our car that has the seat in it. Samantha had a great idea of NOT packing the jacket and hat and just having whoever drives the car to the airport bring it in if it's cold enough!!! That's what you see in the seat. That's the update for tonight!! I will post more tomorrow! I am supposed to be trying to get all the sleep in that I can, but I just have too much to do and be EXCITED about! & documenting all of this is a MUST!!

april! WOW. My heart is SO excited for you! You are going to be an amazingly INCREDIBLE mom (and brandon an equally incredible dad)! can't wait to finally see pics of that little guy's face!!!

I am so excited for you guys, April!! I can't imagine your excitement and the craziness you are experiencing. I sure hope to someday though! Will be praying for a fantastic trip.

april, thanks for sharing so much. It's so encouraging to those of us who still wait to pick up our own lil one someday. Your excitement is contagious and Trey and I actually prayed specifically this morning that you would have traveling mercies and people to guide and direct ya'll as you go forth CALMLY throughout Taiwan. Trey also wanted to know if you could bring Harrison to Georgia with Clay and Hannah for thanksgiving. smile. I told him you may be a little busy with your own family. So, he suggested 4th of July at our Lodge. We'd love it!

And hey...is it really cold enough there to need a jacket & hat already? We haven't gotten there yet in Texas. Of course, we won't til something like late Jan/early Feb.
