I am still WIDE awake! Brandon...well, let's just say we are both (he and I) ready for him to go to bed. He is s-l-e-e-p-y!
My devotion for TODAY November 12th couldn't have set todays president any better.....
This is a time of abundance in your life. Your cup runneth over with blessings. After plodding up hill for many weeks, you are now trapezing through lush meadows drenched in warm sunshine. I want you to enjoy to the full this time of ease and refreshment. I delight in providing it for you.
Sometimes my children hesitate to receive my good gifts with open hands. Feelings of false guilt creep in, telling them they don't deserve to be so richly blessed. This is nonsense thinking, because no one deserves anyone from me. My kingdom is not about earning and deserving; it's about believing and receiving.
When a child of mine balks at accepting my gifts, I am deeply grieved. When you receive my abundant blessings with a grateful heart, I rejoice. My pleasure in giving and your pleasure in receiving flow together in joyous harmony.

We'll be leaving for the airport in about 40 minutes-ish! We should be able to update a time or two before we head from Chicago to Tokyo!! We depart Nashville @ 6:10am and head to Chicago for our longest layover of the trip. We'll leave Chicago at 11:05am their time!! We go to Tokyo and then arrive in Taiwan @ 7:30pm Taipei time.

Oh, April - I am ALL Types of emotional waiting for you guys to hold your little boy! I don't know what it is - but there is just something SO PERFECT about babies and their perfectness just comes straight from our awesome God! I just know how wonderful it is to be a mommy and I am so excited for you to become one as well!!
God has gotten you through all of this and He'll completely get you through the sleepless nights and earaches and tummy bugs! It's all worth it and I just cannot wait to see you grow in your mommy role!
