He's gonna be a good one!

Because I was blessed with the living definition of a father...I have always had high expectations for the father of my children. My dad raised us daughters with lots of patience and the most sacrificial love. He is so fun, so loving, so patient...didn't care too much about discipline...only if mom made him!

So, Brandon has always had BIG shoes to fill. The more I have grown to love and admire Brandon, the more I realize I have no DOUBT in my mind that he is going to be an amazing father to our children.
The card that I got him said exactly what I'd hope to convey to him at this point:

I love picturing you patiently cleaning messy fingers and kissing away sleepy teardrops. I imagine tenderness in your voice as you tell a favorite story or explain mysteries of the world. I can't wait to see you laughing and playing and giving piggyback rides, and holding our sleeping child on your shoulder...You're going to be a wonderful daddy, and I'm going to love being a mommy with you.

I've seen Brandon do most of the above with LOTS of other peoples kids. Now, it's our families turn. I truly am thrilled to have Brandon as my love and best friend to share the adventure of our families future with. There is no one else I'd rather be walking this road with.

Look at him working away on this crazy wall...

We are very blessed to have wonderful fathers, and amazing husbands. The best gift of all, is the love of our Heavenly Father!
