Last Wednesday night we were down about 50% of attendance due to spring break. I was also missing about 50% of my teachers! I knew this was going to happen ahead of time so I planned a Pirates, Princess, and Popcorn night. All boys could dress up like pirates, girls like princesses, and we had popcorn while watching The Veggie Tales Pirates movie! We had fun!

My very own pirate...

Saturday morning was the 2nd major workday in the children's wing! We are 80% of the way to being done with Kidzboro!

Above, the guys are putting up a life-sized version of our logo that we use on all publications and in our bulletin for the kids! We got a quote to have a sign company do this for us, but we quickly determined we had plenty of talented people that could do it for MUCH less....The team consisted of me (the vissonary and painter), Brandon (the woodworker), and our pastor/my boss (the logistical one/co-woodworker!)We are highly satisfied with the outcome...I'll put a completed picture up once we get all the finishing touches on! It is BIG, BRIGHT, and BEAUTIFUL...just like I had hoped! When you walk in the children's wing now, there is no mistaking that's who the wing is for! Praise God for the blessing of these 2 men who helped bring my hopes to life!

This is another of the 12 rooms. Our preschool section is Kidzboro's Creation Corner. The 2 year olds are monkeys (totally fitting)
This is the Music room...pretty awesome...I did not get all angles!

That afternoon, we slipped out for Family Night to a hockey game! We had 22 join in the fun! And it was great fun!

Look who came to play with us for a couple of hours tonight....baby Jacob,

Look who was sad he wasn't getting all of the attention...No really, this is always what happens when I'm on the computer...

As for the giveaway...I am copying my cuz/co-worker,
Patrice on this...
The person with the closest guess to what I am using this picture for...

will win this book that my pastor/boss, Dr. Mark wrote!!

I am going tomorrow to get my copy and will pick up the additional copy. I have heard nothing but wonderful things...In fact, the two times I've gone to get a copy, they've been sold out! So, take a guess....if no one get's close, I'll just pick the guess that I like most!
Here is a description:
The Federal Bureau of Investigation receives an anonymous tip of an international technology company's plot to shut down the Internet and create a national security risk. They also obtain photographic negatives from a 24-year-old 35-millimeter camera depicting passengers struggling to survive a Convair 580 plane crash. The resolution of the crisis can only be found in the remains of the crash, deep in the Campeche jungle of Mexico. Though separated by decades, two timelines converge as Agent Darin Newsom and a team from Honduras search for the wreckage and the documents that can stop the countdown of the "net trigger."

Hmm....my guess is that it's part of some sort of treasure hunt you're setting up for your hubby with a question involved...and the answer is yes! :)
Your blog is so cute!! are you guys with AGCI?? or another agency?? I tried to see if it was listed, but couldn't find it :) Thanks for your sweet comment...What a GREAT day this was....We're very excited :) kristi
You are so creative :)!! I am so glad that all of your hard work is paying off to creat such a wonderful "zone" for the kiddos!!!
Wow, hamburger, eyes, yes....You have me stumped...my best guess would be a puppet for kidzboro use. Or use in a video with Kidzboro?
Let's see..."Taste and see that the Lord is good." Psalm 34:8. God wants us to GOBBLE up and love His word like we do McDonalds burgers. Say YES! Lord YES! I will digest Your word and turn it into energy to praise, worship and serve You.(am I even close??)
I am embarassed to take a guess after Patty's beautiful answer...but I was thinking more along the lines of say "yes" to a diet and not to cheeseburgers!! At least that is what I NEED to be saying but can't seem to do it! Again, I think Patty should win just b/c her answer was so profound!
