Suzie Homemaker! Today was the 1st day that I have been able to do exactly what I was anticipating being able to do once I started back to school. You see, I had this thought that I would be able to go to school half the day, come home clean, cook, help Brandon with his Ebay business etc. Well, I have been lucky to get home by 9pm most nights. I forgot to factor in the group projects, nannying in the afternoon/evening, and other life! So this is what I've done so far today...
-got up at 5:15 to walk with Hannah! Yes, we've started a new exercise regimen! We'll let you know how it goes! The 1st day was easy...21 days to make a habit right?
-Came home showered, got ready for school, read a devotion, ate a bagel, poured some coffee and headed out.
-Stayed at school until 11:30
-Went to Publix for some fresh fruit, face wash, dog shampoo, Alfredo sauce, cream cheese for bagels (I did something like put the cream cheese in the pantry rather than the fridge last week so I needed a replacement)
-Grabbed me a well earned ice cream cone from DQ
-Headed home to mow the front yard (least I could do to show love to my hubby)
-Washed both dogs in the backyard with new shampoo (got SOAKING wet) Turns out Chester likes to gulp the water out of the water hose so he is chasing it around while I am bathing Mya and gulping all of the water and sometimes missing and getting Mya's leg or tail!!! AHHHH! I just did the best I could. Mya ended up with lots of suds left on her.
-Came back in for shower #2 today.
-Did 2 loads of laundry
-Swept kitchen and laundry
-Unloaded & loaded dishwasher
-Fed both dogs
-Turned on Dr.Phil while I chopped some bell pepper and onion for dinner tonight
-Stopped for a breather to write this post!
Now, I'll head back into the kitchen to get some (click on the words for the recipes)
Cajun Chicken Pasta
and an
Apple Crisp
cooking so that when Brandon gets home, we can relax & enjoy! & I'm not sharing all of this so you'll feel sorry for me, I actually love it!!

Ha! That's awesome. So are you keeping Chester? So guess what you are getting to miss at LifeWay....Budget time. Yep, my life at the office is misery for the next few weeks. Oh, and I have news about The Pioneer Woman site that I must tell you.
I think your day sounds perfect - you got a lot done. If I didn't know any better, I would think you were a stay at home wife. I would be completely content after that day and by assisting your hubby with the yard, dogs and dinner. Way to go!!
Way to Go!!! It sounds like you got a ton done. I hope to accomplish the same thing tonight!!
You ARE susie homemaker. I wish I could get half of that accomplished in a day. I always have a list - never seem to get anything crossed off!
