There will be several steps in the process of supporting the new and official A Child’s Rights Campaign for Vietnam. (click on the bold to see the campaign details)
Tonight, I will share the 1st step with you.
-In order for our voices to be heard effectively, the 1st step must be completed by May 30th! This is Friday.
-The Vietnam adoption community is asking for you to send a quick email noting your support for the campaign to the following address advocate@jcics.org
-The email does not have to be complicated just letting them know you support the cause and your name!! Easy Peasy!!!
-You can click HERE to read the recommendations being made by the JCICS that you will be noting your support of.
There are a couple of other steps in the next couple of weeks that we will ask for your assistance with too. It will include contacting some senators and representatives in the House of Representatives etc. etc. I will give as much detail and make it as easy as possible for ya'll to help!! Thanks so much!
P.S. For those of you who are making a commitment to jump in on the email bandwagon, I am hosting a giveaway! I will do the same with the next steps of the process. During our trip to Savannah, I was able to start and finish this book and it was some kinda FABULOUS!! One like I've never read before and I promise I am not exaggerating! I bought an extra copy at SAMS on our way back from the trip because I knew it was worth giving away on the blog! Leave me a comment letting me know you've sent your email to advocate@jcics.org and I'll add you to the pile for the giveaway & I am joyfully expectant that there will be a pile...wink,wink!
I will draw Saturday for a winner! I have lotsa pictures to post from our trip but blogger is being stubborn! I'll get them up soon!!

Wow...this is freaky...I just read the same book this weekend! I absolutely loved it. It's the first time in a very long time that I've had a chance to sit down and read an entire book. Couldn't have come at a better time.
Hope your weekend was joyful!
Hope you had a great weekend! You know I'm sending that email. I linked the campaign on my blog as well for friends and family. Let's hope this makes a difference!
Hey! Just sent the email. I meant to tell you the other day that I left your blog up the other day while I did my homework so I could listen to your playlist! It was awesome to hear such uplifting music, even if it did take me longer to do my work. I kept stopping so I could sing along..LOL

Hi. I found your blog through a friends blog. I am home in Australia on Furlough from Vietnam. It's a special place with so many kids needing people like you. Be encouraged that God already knows the names of all your children...He has them picked out for you! God bless you and the heart He has given you for the children in Vietnam. I sent the email! Please include me in your drawing!
I sent an email just now. I'm praying that this helps to produce a successful outcome. It blows my mind that you and others that I know of are so ready and willing to adopt right now and are having such a difficult time. I find comfort in knowing that God is and will always be in complete control.
I sent the email for you. Your in my prayers daily!
I gladly sent an email...I love how you are pulling others into this campaign! I'll be praying that this problem is resolved quickly...there is a real power in numbers among God's people!
