Spic & Span!!...at least that is what we hope to be saying by Saturday afternoon! Brandon and I have majorly neglected the house over the last couple of weeks. And yes, Brandon does help me with the house. I do not expect him to do as much as I because of his school and Ebay side business but, he does chip in every now and again. The truth is, I couldn't do it without him. Now, when our home is my full time job, we will reevaluate the distribution of tasks but until then, we feel like it is fair. With Heroes Unmasked, preparing for the craft fair & then preparing orders from the craft fair the shape of our house/laundry has been bad...very bad! We had a couple of hours last night before we headed over to Clay and Hannah's for our Thursday dinner. On the way home from work we made a list and then when we got home we worked quickly to finish what was on it. We will do the same some of tonight and some of tomorrow.
Brandon and Clay also plan to start building a desk that looks like so...

Hannah and I have taken over at least one table at each of our houses with crafting materials and the finished products. We have gotta get it under control. We love this desk and feel that it will be a big help to solving our craft space problems. Plus, it is a pretty darn cute table if I do say so myself. The pottery barn pricing just won't work for our budget. Hannah and I also plan to add some baked goods, for order, to our ETSY site so we have to determine what we want to sale and make some for the demo/pictures to put up.
Sunday afternoon, we get to have some fun with the niece and nephew. We will have all this big stuff done before then so we can focus on doing some fun things with Breah and Colton once they arrive!

Umm... you kinda set the expectation out there hun. If the desk doesn't look like that you don't have to post it on the blog. :) And by the way... I do not really help out as much as she led on to. She really does the majority of the hard work around the house. She could definetlly do it with out me, but I think what she meant was she could not do it without my support. She cleaned three rooms and cooked Chocolate Snow Balls while I cleaned the shower... which is still not all that clean. Shes my wonder woman.
:o) xoxox to you Brandon
LOVE that craft station! I need one of those for scrapbooking...if I can ever get started. I have all the stuff but haven't done anything with it! :)
I totally empathize with needing to clean the house!!! We HAVE to this weekend because we have our first post-adoption visit Monday!!
I love that desk!
So pretty!
And what are these chocolate snow balls brandon is talking about??
I'm right there with you... I've been cleaning for a while and I dont' see an end in sight. Lately, my weekends are centered around John... keeping him comfortable or entertained! Good luck on the desk!
LOVE the desk...it will be perfect for working on stuff for your etsy shop :)
Don't be surprised if you have even less time to clean when you are a SAHM. :)
The desk looks like a great plan.
