Mandy Jo reminded me with one of her post, that I found this car seat a couple of weeks ago and fell in love. Not only is it one of the highest rated in safety, it looks just like our little girl...I just know it does!
Remember the bedding I showed you a couple of weeks ago? Well, my friend, who reads my blog, brought me the JCpenney children's catalog this morning. They had this below and it was for 1/2 the price of the other I have been looking at! Yipee!! I love a bargain!
Lastly, I think we have decided to go with black furniture in the nursery. This means we will be painting the changing table. Maybe I can talk Brandon into doing that with me this weekend. I am going to have to get some tips on how later. I might post that tonight. So check back and see if you can offer any input!

This is in JCPenney's catalog? I LOVE IT!!! Black furniture will be beautiful with this bedding. LOVE the carseat too. You know how much I love Owen's! I can't wait to see your nursery when it's done...I know it may be a while, but it's so exciting :)
I love it!!! It's so girly. I also love black furniture, I thought about going with it in Miya room, but I think it will be too much black.
You'll love that carseat...my daughter has it (not that print) and it's wonderful! I plan to use black furniture too. The baby's room will be pink, orange and black. I'm on the hunt for bedding as well.
Question for you... I am thinking about painting my dining room table *you inspired me* and was wondering how you did it?
Did you have to sand it down first or did you just paint right over the existing finish? And what kind of paint did you use?

We have bought Baby Sam's dresser and crib. It was maple and very beautiful, but we really liked the black furniture. So the weekend before last we painted the dresser. Hard work but fun! We sanded, primed, and used 2 coats of paint.I love how it turned out!! This weekend Richard and I will paint the crib black! I can't wait. I have pictures of the finished dresser posted and I will post pictures of the crib once we have it done. I love painting. So much fun :) Enjoy!
Britax carseats are the absolute best! Adeline has the marathon. I love it. It's sooo easy to install and very comfortable too.
Adeline snoozes in hers all the time!

I have some hand me down furniture that I was thinking of refinishing and putting in the 'nursery to be' do you know if there is a certain kind of paint that should be used on a crib or other nersery furniture? Let me know? I hope that you and Brandon are having a great holiday weekend :)
