If any of you gals (sorry for any guys reading) go through the same Fantasy football rigmarole each year like Brandon and I do, go over to Amanda's blog . The last two posts there are gonna give you a good little chuckle, sigh, and quite possibly a rolling of the eyes. Brandon is such a busy guy but he likes his fantasy football time each fall so I try to lovingly oblige. This year it was a little tough at first, they planned to have the draft on Labor Day. I am not a big fan of taking away from family on holiday's. The consensus is that it is important to him so we are gonna work it out this year. We actually had the discussion about the draft being on Labor Day the day before I found the post over at Amanda's. I had to send it to him. I have noticed though that many wives commented that their husbands are doing the draft before Labor Day...hmm? One of the husbands is purchasing a plane ticket to be present at the draft, as this year, he recently moved and his Fantasy team is requiring everyone's attendance at the draft...now that is extreme dedication to a hobby!!

Girl I totally understand where you are coming from!! My husband is SO into fantasy football....every year. In fact he just had his draft last Saturday from 12-3 pm. He has been in the same fantasy league since he was about 15-16 and he is now 25! In fact he even brought it up on our first date! Silly me, at the time, I thought it was just something he and his friends did, no one else. Oops!
