Remember orphan Brodee from about a week ago? What do you do with a dog that bites, not hard, just nibbles ...but does it all the time? A dog that drags everything in the yard around i.e. chairs, patio cushions, planters with dirt in them, food bowls etc? A dog that will not stay off of the other dog? Does obedience training work? I love animals but this dog is CRAZY hyper and a tad bit destructive. He also likes to eat toilet paper. Yeah, remember...CRAZY!! He is already fixed too! I want to give him a good home..but the home is not going to be good if Mama's not happy and right now, I'm not!
Not to compare our future family to puppies, but it has kinda got me thinking about having kids. I bet that it is almost guaranteed that when we have multiple children, we will be faced with situations like these. One child may be easier than the other. We have truly been blessed with our first dog, Mya. She is the best dog we could have hoped for and everybody that meets her usually agrees. Now, we have little orphan Brodee and he is giving us a run for our money! Everyone that meets him also agrees :o) One day I might be asking for help on this blog when faced with behavior problems concerning our children!! Just thought that was funny!

How old is he? Vader nibbled when he was a puppy but grew out of nibbling on us. He has his Fuzzy Buddy now and when the mood hits he'll grab that and just nibble away. They have this Green Apple stuff that is supposed to work, but beware...Vader loved it and licked it off of us.
How Funny!!! When we got Lilly, she was already potty trained, knew how to sit, very laid back, and overall a nice, sweet, QUIET dog. Then came Lola... the one you even said reminded you of Brodee! We've had her for about 6 months, she's now only 8 months old. Her hyperness has calmed, but only very little. All we have to do is walk by her and she reaches out to "bite" us. She hasn't been very destructive, I think its because Lilly has "taught" her what is acceptable to play with. Everytime I have a question or get fed up with her I get reminded that she is just a puppy and SHOULD grow out of it! I completely jive with you on the comparison thoughts to having children!!! I don't really have advice to give except crate him and keep stuff out of his reach. You might also talk to the vet's office. Good Luck!!!
